Do your yorkies ever do this?
 
When Ellie sleeps sometimes her whole body shakes, and it almost makes a noise like she is laughing and her nose twitches. It is the strangest thing, and I was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this? My dad swears she is laughing , and like I said it does sound a lot like she is laughing but it is also a strange noise.

No, but all of my dogs will squeak in their sleep.

I'm hoping its just her dreaming. Kaji shakes a little and will bark in his sleep. It's muffled and not very loud, but a bark none the less. Otherwise it might be a seizure? I'm hoping its just your baby having a fun dream!

Two out of four of my Dogs snore in their sleep.

It can be DEFFENING ! :biggrin:

Ellie snores too! And it does get loud every know and then. It cracks me up!

It doesn't seem seizure like, but then again I have never had either of my girls have one, I have just read a lot about them. I am hoping it is just her dreaming too!

HA yea, it cracked me up the first few times, but, when one of them weights 13 lbs, the humor fades quickly.
I just reach over and push him with my finger, and tell him to roll over :biggrin:

Ellie sounds adorable! Teddy used to do this when he was a pup. He was such a happy little guy. Now he is a little more serious and he "runs" a little in his sleep, like he is chasing a squirrel. Even when he is awake, it is clear he is very imaginative and re-lives fun moments. :)

Cherry does this occasionally. I read that it's normal. It's actually really cute and funny!

Dorrie snores. As does my husband and both my children :thumbdown

Glad to know Ellie is not the only one!! Lilly Anne snores just a little but Ellie snores a lot. She is so funny!

When Amy is in a deep sleep she will make popping noises. You know like we do putting out finger in our mouth and pulling outward. It is funny and she will do 2 or 3 and stop.

Mine snor, grunt, whimper and even fart in their sleep ! They must be having some really awesome dreams.


Kristin your post reminds me of this video... Poor Fella, its funny up until the very end and than you feel sorry for him. He must of been really determined to get that squirrel . :D

My first yorkie, Charlie, was a warrior in his dreams. His little legs would chase after everything and he would growl as he laid on his back. Thanks for this thread. It brought up fond memories.
