Hello Hello everyone! I just joined and I think this is such a great web site. There is so much good and useful information! I have a seven month little Yorkie girl named Grace. She is such a cutie and currently weighs 2.9lbs! I am just a beginner at all of this and need all the advice I can get! I have been potty training her outside but living in cold New England, I would rather have her trained outside and in, for when it's bad weather. I have been reading everyone's different advise on what to do and it is great! I will have a picture of Gracie as soon as I can! |

I live in CT, near Norwich in between the two casino's! I have a question about feeding her. Should I leave her food out all day for her to nibble on, or give her a designated breakfast and dinner? My breeder said to leave it for her all day, that Yorkies were not over-eaters, but I am still unsure. Any advise? |

I leave food out all day and mine eat when they're hungry. Mine don't overeat at all...good luck! |
Dixie Doodle 4 Attachment(s) Well I finally found how to get her pictures on. This is my second post. My little Dixie is a holly terror:mad: and she bites my hands  and face all the time. I wish I knew how to stop it, she draws blood to many times to count. She will be 3 months old tomorrow. We have started potty training her and we are doing good, she starts winning near where the door is and we take her out to the area for her to go, but some times she fools around to long and it being cold we take her in. Again she asks to go out and sometime it takes a third outing before she goes. She keeps us busy from the time we get out of bed 6:30 till we go to bed.9:30 :thumbdown A week ago she charged from one end of the kitchen to the other hit her head on the table leg really hard, didn't get knocked out but a day later and still now her eyes blink and her head bobs, not constantly, so we took her to the vet and blood work is O.k. so she is on antiinflammatory med the second day now hope this works, other wise we have to take her to a specialist. Nothing has changed, she still is so active. I am wondering if this has happened to anybody dog? |
