Would they show any other symptoms if they had a UTI? Im wondering if Daisy could possibly..she seems to be peeing ALOT! like today..I had her in her crate maybe 45 minutes, and when I checked on her, there were 3 huge wet spots on the pee pads? Seems like alot..she had just been outside before I put her in there! But she shows no other symptoms of being uncomfy or anything...so I dont know! Also, i wish she would learn to tell me when she has to poop! She had a diaper on earlier, and was around the house...and pooped in it..and of course it gets all stuck to her...what a mess! Always giving a bath! Anyway, thanks for any feedback :) |
You might read the link below, but I always knew immediately when my little girl had a uti because she would want out very frequently. She would just go a little bit. I would catch a sample in a sterile cup first thing of a morning and immediately refrigerate it and take it in to the vet within an hour or two. They would check it and give me a prescription. There can be other causes, besides a uti, however. http://b-naturals.com/Sep2004.php |
Thanks. She’s going to the vet at 2pm. I sure hope they can tell me whats up! When we first brought her home, she slept with us, and stayed put all night..but lately, she’s up a lot, and always wet in the am. She can pee outside, but still continues to pee a lot indoors, not caring where or on what! And she’ll even poop in a diaper, and doesn’t seem phased by it!!! She gives me no indication she needs to go out! I need to think of a game plan to get her on track! I’ll post when we get back…….. |
The UTI could have been cause by he diapers or the panties your using, if the moisture doesnt get absorbed into a panty pad it lays on her and can cause an infection. Keep her dry at all times, which means changing the diaper or the internal pads often. good luck at the vet |
