I hate storms I hate storms.....and we have a tornado warning on now, I'm home alone and scared to death. The girls and I are going to the basement. Hate these things!!! |
I'm sorry you're scared. Snuggle with the girls in the basement. I LOVE storms and I think yours is heading my way. I'll happily take it for you!! |
Luckily no damage only 70 mph wind and rain - no hail - no tornado. If you watch the Weather Channel there is a picture of a tornado on the ground in Roanoke, IL. That was taken a few miles from the farm I grew up on - lots of family still around there. |

I am glad you are okay. I've been watching that mess on the Weather Channel all day...such strange weather...tornadoes in November, and soooo dangerous. Such damage where tornadoes have touched. I grew up in 'tornado alley' and I would not wish that weather on anyone. |
Dolly and I got into the walk in closet. Sure glad it was in the day time I just hate them during the night when you can look out and see what is going on. |
I saw it was heading your way on the radar. Glad you and Dolly are OK. I am a basket case when they hit at night too. The only casuality here was my wreath blew off the front door and is nowhere to be found. It's probably miles away by now. |

I'm glad you are safe. 70 mph winds are pretty bad. Dad had the Chicago Bears game on when they sent everyone underneath the stadium to take cover. Looked horrible, and I saw all of the damage in southern Illinois. :( I hate strong storms too. We don't have a basement and our house is wood frame. |
The wind was whipping around here pretty bad. Last night, the boys kept barking thinking all the thumping was someone knocking on the door. There are a lot of branches down around the neighborhood. I am just glad they have power. |

dog Prayer surrounding you during these terrible storms. We are at the mercy of the Lord when all that happens. Here in California we cannot imagine the scare you must feel going through that. Just pray and know we are with you praying for your safety. People better get ready, these days are getting us closer to the return of the Lord. So many more storms, hurricanes, shootings, and evil around us. Only comfort for me is to know this life is temporary and all our pain and sorrow will be gone once Jesus returns. May the hand that holds this world together, keep you safe and secure. |
Glad you and the girls are safe. My two freaks out whenever we get bad storms. Luckily, we don't get them too often. |
Happy you are safe! We had the storms here, just not as bad. Lost power around 7 and it came back on at 2am? Today is windy and there are lots of trees and limbs down but better. |
