I read the story and was appalled, disgusted, and very sad for the poor dogs. I cannot imagine this woman being charged with the care and well being of 100's of children. I surely hope that this woman gets considerable jail time AND she is never allowed pets or to be in charge of children again. EVER! |

If 2 of your dogs legs are gone, how are you NOT going to see it...unless you don't see the dogs at all. They are living, breathing beings. If she can't take care of them, I hardly think she should be allowed to care for children. I love how she tries to paint a good picture of herself by saying that she was too busy with her job and volunteering at "non-profits" As if it makes up for her total neglect for her animals. The fact that she doesn't think she did anything wrong is probably the most disturbing part of it all though...I'd guess she has no remorse, nor has she learned that what she did was unacceptable. |

I read... "Martinez's current employment status could not be confirmed by Houston's Tenney private school." That sounds like she is not working, and what... lied about employment ?, or, they don't want to own up that she's employed there. Anyway yes, throw the book at her ! (NPE) ;) |
That is just awful, how do you not notice a rotting leg? That isn't something that happens in just a few hours or even a few days! People like this shouldn't be allowed to have pets, if you can't care for them then you do the right thing and surrender them to someone who can! Cases like this really boil my blood :mad: |
I hope she goes to jail. Too bad they cant forget to feed her for a few days while shes in there....maybe then, she would start to see how her animals felt. Idk how it works with animal abusers, but I know that rapists and child molesters dont fare well behind bars. |
This woman needs to go to jail. This is just heartbreaking for those poor helpless dogs. Too bad they couldn't be treated the same way they treat their animals!!! "But, I didn't know anything was wrong!!" |
