Pj vs sweaters at night My boy has medium long hair and gets cold at night. I am debating between getting him pjs or just a sweater. I want it in fleece for warmth. Would pjs be better or is a sweater good enough. We live in central California so it does not get super cold.he doesn't tangle easily but sweaters are easier to put on. What to do? |
1 Attachment(s) Pajamas.....yorkies in pajamas are so cute!!!!! |
I would say pajamas! I think a sweater would be too warm, especially if they like to snuggle under the blankets. I sometime just put a t shirt on Tatiana to go to bed, just for a little extra insulation. |

I tried PJs with Callie several different brands and with all of them her back legs would come out and she never seemed really comfy so she sleeps in fleece night gowns. |

I would go with the pj's I think a sweater would be too hot and plus it would cover his rump. |
Gracie prefers pajamas to a sweater. Actually she hates sweaters. I think they are just to restricting or they push on her hair too much. Pajamas are looser and seem to keep her pretty cozy. She does like a fleece shirt though. Her fleece shirts don't smush her fur like a sweater does. |
I would love links or ideas of where to purchase the fleece nightgowns or pjs. |

Ricky loves his pj's. I was actually online last night looking for some new ones because he doesn't have enough. A lot of times, I just let him run around in the house in them instead of putting a sweater on him and he wears them to bed at night as well. I would think the pj's are probably more comfortable to sleep in than a sweater....or at least something made in pj material, like fleece or flannel or tshirt material etc etc. |

I am not sure what the brand is. My mom gave it to me. Its just the normal exercise pens like you see people use at dog shows for their puppies and/or their pets to use the bathroom. It seems like you'll always see them outside of RV's. I've seen the exercise pens at both Petco and Petsmart. I believe they have the taller ones in their store, but i am not 100% sure. They may have them at walmart or target as well. Here is the basic style of exercise pen that i am talking about.... https://www.google.com/#q=dog+exerci...06062456331459 Anyways...here is place that's selling a cover and/or mat underneath. If your pup could posibly get out, this would keep them in and they still have lots of room to roam. Waterproof cover or floor for Exercise Pen Here's a big crate.... 48" XX Large 3 Door Dog or Cat Crate - Pets Outerspace If you get a big crate, you can't add on...and on top of that, you'll have to clean out the potty out of the bottom tray. I would think the other one is easier when it comes to cleaning poo and pee. I know the one store is in Australia so it wouldn't be economical to ship from there, but there's got to be similar stuff in the US. I like that you can buy panels and add onto the pen and I love the roof and floor idea!! |
I am sorry....I somehow posted the above post on the wrong thread:( |
