I've gotten Cricket used to wearing clothes. I'll admit, she DOES run and hide when she sees me getting something out. But once I get it on her, she's fine. She will wear sleeves and ruffles. She has a Halloween dress with a tutu type skirt that I have also gotten her used to. Top knots are my issue........ I wish she would be still and let me fix her hair with a small rubber band. Oh well, I'll keep trying....... :) |
Well today was Gizmos lucky day :-) I took him to visit my friend that also has a yorkie, and she was waiting for him with a present :-) I little blue tee that has a silver studded peace sign on the back. So of course we had to put it on him immediately and he acted like he didn't even notice it lol. I put his buddy belt right over it and we tested it on a walk, and he didn't pee on it or anything, it was a perfect fit :-) so I guess now I know for shirts, he doesn't mind them at all. Now on to other items hehe. |
Mina was wearing a dress when I picked her up from the breeder and will get pouty if I dont dress her. She even gets excited when I finish a new dress and bow for her. Then there is Kenzie, she was 4 months when we got her. LOVES the outdoors, rolling in the grass running until she drops. Imagine my surprise when I put a sundress on her and she cried and rolled. So I have figured out that strappy sundresses are not ok. She likes nities at night and will wear a dress with sleeves. It has taken about 10 days for her to decide that it is ok. The fact that Mina gets dressed infront of her every morning has helped. As far as Kenzie is concerned,if Mina says it is ok, it must be ok. |
