Lucy scared the &*%!#@ out of me Last night when Lucy was eating, my sister dragged the vaccum cleaner across the tile floor which made a huge noise, and Lucy turned around to bark at it with like 5 pieces of food in her mouth! I dropped a few F-bombs in front of my mom because she started choking. I opened her mouth and that's when I saw how much food was lodged there. She wouldn't let me get in there because THANK GOD she was trying to get it out on her own, after a couple seconds she let me open her mouth again and I swiped my finger around and didn't feel or see anything so she is fine now but she had me so scared. I had the YT heimlich instructions flash before my eyes, lol. I don't know what i am going to do when i have human kids because I seriously flipped out. |
Wow, I can imagine how scary that was. I'm glad she is okay! |
I'm so glad you both are ok! |
Whoa, how scary! So glad it all worked out! Yeah, Lucy! :D |
Wow thats scary! I am glad she is okay |
I can imagine how scary that was for all of you. Bet your mom is gonna tiptoe around for a while. She must have been scared half to death, too..Glad all are okay.. |
My dog plus every human baby I have ever had has choked at least once or twice. It is very scary...but most of the time it turns out okay - thank God!! Pre-Hemliech --- I remember a couple of times turning my babies upside down, slapping them on the back, and putting my finger down their throats to help get some lodged food (usually bread) out. My little Yorkie literally gulps his food at times - I'm surprised he hasn't choked more often than he has. Carol Jean |
It definitely shook me. All I could remember was that first you are supposed to clear their airway, but she wouldn't let me get in her mouth! I am just so glad she got it out on her own, I would have really freaked if I had to do the heimlich. |
That's so good nothing happened - poor baby that must have really freaked you out - - I remember Chanel barking with only one piece...but it shot across the room like a bullet. I've always worried about that happening too - Poor baby - she's going to HATE the vacuum cleaner now too :) your little Lucy is a little piggy with all that food in her mouth hehe |
