himalayen chews are these any good? I see petsmart is selling these/ morgan is such a chewer |
Sorry I don't know about this product. On another note, I just wanted to say that Morgan is a cutie:) She (?) looks so much like my boy, Bailey, except Bailey has one ear up and the other down. Bailey weighs 7.5 lbs.. How much does Morgan weigh? Have a great day. Cheers! |
My kiddos absolutely love Himalayan Chews aka Churpi Chews. They are rather pricey, but last a long long time. |
thank you// Morgan is a male and he does weigh 7.5 lbs |
Peanut really didn't get into them. When I gave him one (a long time ago) he didn't know what to do with it.. he carried it around in his mouth and buried it.. that was the last I saw it LOL!! |

Roccos loves these, but the first time I introduced them he didn't know what to do with them. I would recommend wetting the end of it, then scraping it with a knife (grate some of it off) to activate the cheesy smell and salty taste. They are super hard and this helps to give them an idea of the yummy to be had if they chew it! |
Lola loves hers and they last forever. I bought the small 3 pack like 2 months ago and she's still working on the 2 I gave her (one upstairs, one downstairs). Sometimes she'll chew it a lot and then go days without touching it. They've been well worth the $10, and if you consider chewing hours they're very cheap. |

I have never bought them but they are expensive.. |
I've bought them. Both absolutely love them but unfortunately, it didn't last too long with Magnus. Plus, it got really messy/sticky... Had to stick to odorless bullies... |

I do occasionally give them Beams from the honest kitchen, they go bonkers for that! Unfortunately it doesn't last long, maybe 25-30 mins max for a strong chewer. |
Dooney likes them....he loves bully sticks but I can't stand the smell of bullies so for now he has Himalayans. |
As with any chew there are drawbacks. Chews tend to fall into different categories: Teeth crackers Obstruction hazards Intestinal irritants Bacterial grossness Esophageal blockage Some are part of more than one category. Most owners say these are gery hard, so they will crack teeth. Thy are also sometimes not tolerated because of the ingredients. You just ave to choose which types of chews make you feel safest. |
My gang loves them and the last forever even with my most aggressive chewer! |
