About Terri Shunsky?????
 

Would some of you other yorkie owners go to *********....forums....under the 'general disscussion' forum. I have just read a post that Terri Shumsky is in the hospital and in very bad condition. I want someone else to read this and see if they get the same impression.
I went to the link....the Liver Shunt link and found nothing new concerning HER health.
This lady is an angel and needs our prayers!!!!

This is true! Terri is on life support! Please keep this wonderful lady in your prayers. She has helped so many yorkie be able to live a normal life. She is an angel i n my eyes. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER!

The thread on ********* also gave an address to send cards ONLY....of course, i was too stupid to write it down and re-post it over here....

OK, I am a newbie and please don't yell at me but who is this? Judging by your posts she must help yorkies somehow? Thanks :)

She is the person who helped creat the liver shunt foundation. They help fund the operations for deserving families and babies. She has helped save many lives!

Oh...how nice...I hope she pulls through and gets better.....thanks

This is the latest information I have on Terri. I am o listing the email address to send emails to, and the hosptial address at the bottom of the post.

"I just got this from Terri's neighbor. I am very relieved. Please send your e-mails to Linda Lerner, in plain text and she will read them to Terri. I have put in a call to her niece, Cindy, as well.

Thanks for getting the word out on Terri. I received many emails and have
been reading them to her everyday. She took a turn for the worst after I
last emailed you and was in what the doctors termed a "very grave"
condition. She is now starting to come out of the coma, but because she is
on a ventilator, she cannot speak. Just yesterday for the first time, she
would blink or nod her head when I read the emails to her. They are
wonderful therapy, please ask for people to write to me again. (I'm sure
that she has probably memorized these . . . . I know I have!) She has a
great group of "yorky" friends that I know she really appreciates. Thank
everyone so much for responding they way they did . . . . she is a
wonderful person that we need to help pull through this terrible time."

She was in ICU and I don't know if she is out yet or not. Have not heard anything on my list about it yet.

Terri will have my prayers . I did not have had the chance to meet her but the first time I wrote to her was for buying 1 book she wrote on Yorkshire Terriers .
