Wen shampoo Any one use Wen or the generic from Sallys Beauty Supply on their pups? Do you like it? Any dislikes? Is their a difference between the generic and the Wen? |
I have used the Wen Kids on Sophie Kate, loved it she was so soft and smelled so good. I use Wen on myself and like it also, it takes some time to adjust to the no lather. |
I haven't tried Wen. But, I've tried both the L'Oreal Cleansing Conditioner and the one from Sally's. The L'oreal smells super strong perfume-y (WAY too overwhelming) and I didn't like the results at all...on either me or the doggies. I liked the Sally's version much, much better on both me and the doggies. |

I bought the Wen for myself and didn't like it, so I started using it on my yorkies and it makes their hair soooo silky smoth and soft. Plus, it smells good! |
I have Wen for my hair, but I haven't used it enough to see if i like it yet. I use Ojon mostly. A dog's pH is different from ours. I've heard that we can use their shampoo, but our shampoo is not conditioning enough for them. I'd like to try Katie's back passion shampoo and masque on my hair, Maintaining Your Dog's Skin pH | petMD |

Someone told me they are coming out wiht a Wen formula for dogs. I have not seen it and honestly not sure I will use it, it is costly. I use the Wen Kids because I bought it thinking I would like the scent but honestly it smells like a Jolly Rancher. |
Just add some baking soda mixed in water to the human shampoo and it makes the pH correct for dogs. I usually add about teaspoon but each shampoo is different. |
I remember that concretegrl (sp?) uses it. I haven't seen her post in a while but I remember her always saying that she loved it and is all she uses. |
I have always heard our shampoo shouldn't be used on dogs too. But I sure thought someone on her had mentioned using the Wen on their pups. And had great results. I'm curious if it is different than regular shampoo. |
