I have a major crush!
 
A week an 1/2 until my wedding and I am falling for another man ;)
He is so sweet and adorable. He is about 12, which is fine with me, his eyes are a bit cloudy but still so full of life! He needs a dental and a growth removal but other than that you would never guess his age. I havent introduced him to my dogs yet but I am certain they will get along. WHY did this have to happen NOW! I am leaving for my honeymoon and it's just not fair. whyyyyyyyyyy?

Ut Oh, these thing's happen when you least expect it. Is it Fritzl you are talking about?? I was looking at the web site and saw him. He sure is cute.

Honey? Honeymoon is state of mind. I've been married 33 years, and that can happen anytime you want it to. The pup has to happen in a certain way and on a schedule. If your man loves you, he will understand. Honeymoons are better when they aren't jammed up right behind the wedding. Time to get extra money together if you wait.

Yes! Isn't he adorable? He is so sweet, I just love him. I named him too, poor guy didn't even have a name we knew. It makes me so sad to think someone would just dump him at a city shelter after caring for him so long. I can't stop thinking about him but it would be unfair to get him now and then have to board him for a week. I will leave it up to fate, if he is still at the shelter when I get back then it was meant to be...if not I just hope he goes to a great home.

I was thinking of getting another and actually really wanted to rescue an older fellow (as long as he was spry enough to keep up with Molli). I just wasn't planning on doing it so soon. I was hoping to move first, having 3 dogs in an apartment may be a challenge. DH2B hasn't said no but I can tell he is worried about the logistics of it all. I guess its good I'm leaving, that way if he is still there I will know it was meant to be. I just love him so much already. Every other dog I love but I am happy to find them homes, this one I just don't want to go anywhere. No one is going to be good enough for him! I also don't want him to sit in the shelter for the next 2 weeks but if he isn't adopted he isn't adopted, theirs nothing I can really do about that. Oh I feel so torn, as if I didn't have enough stress in my life- lol

Oh goodness, bless his heart. It's so sad that people do this to dogs/cats and he's such an old baby. I would take him in a heart beat!!! Is he at a rescue or a shelter? If he is at a shelter will they put him down? If so, when will that be? You should go get him :) I know that's not what you want to hear but I just had to say that. Congrats on the upcoming wedding!! ENJOY!!

Today I found out he had previous history. When I looked at it I was so sad. Seems his previous owners only had him for 2 1/2 months before giving him to the city shelter because they 'can't care for him'. So the family that had him before must have gave him up also. Who knows how many times this poor guy has changed hands. At the least this next home will be his 3rd. I intend to make it his last, if I can. I am bringing my pups to meet him tomorrow and then taking him to meet Chibi's pet sitter to see if she will watch him. Since I am low on $ I only hope she can be bribed with favors and Microsoft stuff ;)
