| Sunnydayz | 09-20-2013 10:37 AM | Gizmo is missing a tooth So I noticed when I rescued Gizmo that on the top left, he had an adult canine, and a baby one right next to each other. The baby ne fell out, so all is good on that side. He also has both bottom canines. The problem is on the top right. He hasn't had any on the top right since I got him. At first I was just thinking maybe the baby tooth fell out, before the adult one came in. It's been 5 weeks now though and still no top right canine. Has it ever taken any of your yorkies a while for an adult canine to come in?
I would not be suprised if something happened to it, before I rescued him since he was in such poor health, I'm just wondering how this will effect the little guy :-( thankfully he's had no more hypoglycemic attacks since I rescued him, and he seems to eat fine without the canine tooth on the right, I just feel bad for him, that those people I rescued him from treated him so poorly.
Thankfully, from looking at him now, you would never know all he's been through, he's such a happy out going little guy now :-) |
