For those of you that wanted to see pics. I posted them in the photo gallery. I am not sure how to post them in the forum. I tried to resize them but it wont go small enough to put in the forum.

Thank you! I am so glad I got them out of their situation. The vet said the blue/silver seems to be full blooded but he has never seen one that color. I have read up on the blue born though and will be extra careful with her.

The first and last photos are of Tilly, and the other two photos are of Mimi and Jackson? Mimi and Jackson definitely look like full-blooded Yorkies. Tilly looks a little different. Is Tilly the mother of Mimi and Jackson? How are all three related? If Tilly has a dark blue nose that is distinct from the black noses that I can see on Mimi and Jackson, then she is definitely blue born. She is quite pretty, and should live a healthy, normal life.

Yes you are correct Tilly is the blue one. And Mimi and Jackson are the other two. None of them are related. The backyard breeder I got them from had them all to breed them to death. I have a post on here telling how I came to have all 3 of them. It was my heart telling me to do it and now I am hoping I am not in over my head lol.

Is Tilly blue or silver all over, with no signs of tan? If so, she's not necessarily a blue born. She might simply be lacking the saddle tan gene that regular black and tan Yorkies have. If she has a blue nose that is distinctly lighter in color than Mimi's and Jackson's noses, then she is probably a blue born. I posted a link to some photos of blue born Yorkie puppies a few minutes ago. Here is the link, in case you missed it:

BTW, the breeder is selling those blue born puppies as "designer" Yorkies, probably for a premium price, something that no reputable breeder in their right mind would do.

She has no tan on her at all. She is silver and blue. Her body is silver and she is a dark blue where the tan should be. Her nose is really dark blue almost black. So I am not sure if she blue born or just and off color yorkie. either way in my eyes she is gorgeous;)

oooooooo ok got it lol... I just googled it as well. I am not sure if she would be or not. She isn't really black. She is silver and blue. I am not even sure if she is full yorkie??? People say anything now days lol. Her coat is pretty thin compared to the other 2. And she is the sweetest one out of all of them she is glued to my side.
