New mommy Hello my 2 year old just had her first puppy. I know that it's ok she only had one, but she was SSSOOO cubby. Is that ok for her to be that thick with only one pup? |
Hi there congratulations on your new baby, but I don't understand your post question, what is cubby? |
I think you mean chubby. My understanding is that singletons are larger and can even be dangerous to deliver. Sounds like she had no problems. Yes she should be chubby with one or more pups. Did the xrays indicate her size prior to delivery? I am glad she came out ok! Welcome to YT! |
A single puppy doesn't have to share the room of the womb. I had a cat, Pepper, who had only 1 kitten, he was born via c-section, and was as long as my hand, I'm 6'2" and I have big hands. As long as mom and puppy are healthy, you shouldn't have any problems. Good luck. Cheers Quad:aimeeyork |
