Does yours like Tea?
 
My little girl has often shown an inclination to join me for the afternoon cup of tea. At 4pm today, I offered her a fresh brew with skimmed milk (no sugar) - Yorkshire Tea of course!

This was downed with amazing alacrity and a look for a second brew, both delivered in her own little cup. The photo demonstrates her impatience for the refill!

Do any of yours inherit this very English addiction to our National beverage? :teapot:

I prefer Earl Grey, myself. ;)

But no, I don't allow my dogs to join me because caffeine can be toxic to dogs. Though most teas have less caffeine than coffee, it's better safe than sorry.

The picture is adorable. She has you completely wrapped around her little paw, doesn't she?

Yes, she's absolutely wonderful and a real pleasure to be with. I should of course have added that all our tea is De-caf. Poor old dad was relegated to the de-caf wagon five years ago and to be honest I don't miss it at all now, neither does my BP!

When we got her,she'd previously been with an elderly lady, who couldn't handle her effervescence and after three months reluctantly had to let her go Of all the Yorkies we've both known in our lifetimes, she's by far the most active little 'B' we've both known, always on the go and up for anything. Amazingly she's never damaged a thing here! Absolutely fabulous to be with, none the less and my constant little companion and pal.

We drink decaf tea also....and my babies all love having a cup of tea with me! Which is super, because when they are feeling out of sorts, I can fix a cup of tea with a touch of sugar in it, and they will sit and "sip" enough of that while I drink MY tea, that I know they are staying hydrated and glucose levels up. They will also drink Pedialyte, but they really enjoy all of us "having tea with momma".....Yes......my family thinks I am walking a tight line between sanity and certifiable......(I have not brought out the bisquits and orange marmelade (sp)!!!

I am NOT believing this!!! As I wrote that post about drinking tea with my babies, a "pop up" advertisment for "Tea 101 - An Educational Email Series" has appeared at the bottom of the page!!!! Just in case you think for one minute "they" are not watching everything we do, where we go, what we buy, what we say, what we share, etc......

I'm supposed to be on the caffeine free bandwagon myself. My cup of tea is my one hold out. My night shifts demand it :D

I am laughing at this, because my dad's lab/pointer also loves tea/coffee (not saying we give her any) she happens to be able to reach the tables without having to sit up to reach. Bailey also loves a little of the decaf tea.. just have to make sure he doesn't get any that would cause an issue.

Mr Zuckerberg's' big ears - frightening and thank God I'm 68 and nearer the exit than when I came in!

The Decaf Yorkie tea, seems to quench my little daughters thirst and hopefully give her a feeling of sharing with Dad a glimpse of great things past!

That is great! Such a cute photo! I love Earl Grey with a touch of sugar and milk but have never offered Huey any. Gonna have to get some decaf. I bet that would be nice when he gets chilled. A little warm drink. :cheers:

A small bowl of decaf tea, a little splash of milk and a nice piece of 'Digestive' biscuit....well, when it's 4 p.m. - it has to be done!!! :D Sally + Harry x
