Cookie is asking out now!
 
I feel like I have to shout it from the rooftops. After lots of hard work with potty training, Cookie is now consistently going to the door to tell when she needs out, and sometimes even barking. With the horror stories of how hard yorkies can be to potty train I wasn't expecting this milestone for another few months (she turns 5 months tomorrow). I'm so proud of my Cookie Monster and let her know it every time she asks out now.

Cookie is just awesome! Zoey took over a year... She still has "accidents" when she's mad though. -_-; But I have to admit it's little funny b/c she knows that's a bad thing and will hide or she won't come anywhere near the area. LOL

Haha! Abbi too. She'll be 5 months on the first and she's learned to go on her PeePads from TBumpkins & Co (awesome pads, BTW!)..EXCEPT when she's mad...then it's on the carpet.

Congratulations Cookie!! Well done! What a smart little girl.

That's fantastic! I don't think we've seen photos of her in awhile?
BTW, I think I'll always remember one of your first posts when I believe you were thinking Cookie was potty trained in one day!:yelrotflm:yelrotflm

Nah, I never thought she was potty trained lol (still know she's not there yet). I think I may have been bragging that I got her to go outside those first couple of days. She really was great those first couple of days after 3 three quick accidents immediately when I first got her, but I knew it was going to be a long process.

Great news and Cookie is such a good girl. Amy after a severe Bad Girl one day after going on the carpet has always told us when she has to go out. She comes and stares at us and does a talking sound and we know it is time.

She had one day she went inside twice since, but for the most part hasn't had accidents the last couple of weeks except when we got her really excited in playtime after too long between outdoor trips. So nothing I could say was her fault.
