I have accidentally dropped my keys in the trunk.. There were times I forgot I left an item in the trunk... How do you ACCIDENTALLY leave a LIVE animal in the trunk and "maybe forgot"?! Why was the puppy in the trunk in the first place? You shouldn't even leave your dog inside the car alone during summer.

Anger aside... That puppy looks so cute! I'm glad the pup wasn't hurt. I'm also praying that lady doesn't get the puppy back....

a MONTH old puppy? What is it even doing away from mom? And when they rescued the pup it was wet with sweat? I thought dogs don't sweat?

He was probably wet from barking and slobbering. Poor little thing. I don't know why they bothered hunting the idiot down. They should have pried that trunk open .. good grief.
People are just horrible... her brother said maybe she took longer???? WTH they think it is normal to put a puppy in a trunk for any length of time?

I hope she goes to court looking like that! We can pray that she does not get that puppy back. She should be monitored and never be allowed to have another one but we know that will not happen...she clearly does not use the brains that God gave her.

It says on the video that the puppy was 3 months old. I'm glad the man saw her do it. It was not an accident... She made that choice, she should not get the dog back.

This is so wrong! Yes she looks like she has green hair but how do you leave a little dog in a Trunk. I am sorry but most dogs wiggle, whine or bark. There is no way you could "accidentally" leave a puppy in a trunk. I hope she is banned from owning any animal. :angry:

That is terrible, but I have to confess, we had a terrible scare the other day. I was carrying groceries into the house and Martini ran out the door and jumped in the car. I didn't even realize he was in the car and shut the door. After dumping the groceries on the counter I asked my husband where is martini? We searched and searched, I was so afraid he got out the door and got run over, my husband started down the road to look for him. I came around the corner of the garage and noticed him sitting on the seat of the car, looking like when are we going for car ride? Luckily it wasn't hot and it was only a couple minutes, but we had a good laugh and will be extra careful from now on!!!

Thank God you found Martini safe! My father-in law locked my Min Pin in our shed once and I looked for hours. I was afraid that my cows trampled her or Coyotes got her.:eek::eek: My poor father-in-law forgot that she was with him when he was in the shed.

This stupid green headed lady ought to be locked in a trunk and anyone that was with her too!!!

Accidents like that can happen and thankfully each of your dogs were safe. What that lady did was NO accident, she had the full intent of leaving the dog in the trunk and she should be punished for it. That poor puppy, hopefully they adopt him out to someone who will love him and treat him the way the sweet little baby deserves.

Will never understand why people can be so stupid. You don't lock a puppy/child in a car let alone the trunk. Hope they never let that person out of jail.

People frequently forget their children in cars. I absolutely believe a person could leave a dog in the car by accident. I also trust eyewitness accounts, within reason, and don't see why the complaintant would have reason to lie. People who think such things are ever justifiable should not be responsible for any living being b

There was no excuse for her. If you can't take you pup into some place leave the dog home. It is not rocket science. Thankful for the guy that saw it happen and took action. or that pup would have been dead

In the cabin of the car is quite different than the trunk of the car!

This jerk wanted to leave her dog where it wouldn't be seen or heard or mess up her car while she amused herself and didn't care one whit for its comfort, fear closed up in there or life. I hope they take the dog from her for good and give it a chance to live with a real person, not a monster. Horrible!!! Should be kept from owning any other pet for at least 10 years to give her time to change but doubt she can.
