My big yorkie!! My yorkie is 12 weeks and he weighed in at 6.4 lbs does anyone else have a big yorkie??? I love him to death I'm just trying to figure out how big he will be full grown. :) |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk.. Generally you double the weight at 12 weeks so your boy may be 12 - 14 lbs.. Most Yorkies are full grown by 18 months... Would love to see pics of your handsome boy.. |
I uploaded some pictures of him hopefully you can see them thank you for the information! |
I have a 14 pound male and a 15 pound female. More Yorkie to love. |
Our yorkie Zach weighs about 12 1/2 lbs. He's 3 years old. |

Sorry Galen is a smaller size but I wanted to welcome you and your pup to YT. Can't wait to see pictures |
Mine is 16/17 pounds |
Jackson was about that size at that age! He's about 17lbs now. :) |
all our yorkies are between 12 and 14 pounds, love them to pieces :) |
Wow and I was thinking that Leila was big! She is almost 5 months old now and weighs about 8 lbs! Its crazy cause she doesn't look like she weighs that much at all. |
Hi, welcome to you & Rocky. Bigger yorkies are just as sweet and loving. I purposely adopted a "teapot" (15+#'s) when my boys were small. Fannie was a wonderful part of our family for many years. I wouldn't have traded the time we were blessed with her for anything!! |
Our Charlie was 15 pounds. His size was perfect. He was still a small dog, but he was big enough to play with my boys as they were growing up. |
P-Nut was smaller at 12 wks, around 1/3rd of your baby's size, but he ended up being 10.5 lbs. He's almost 2. :) |
I love the teapots! Chase was about 5lbs at 12 weeks, and is 11-12lbs at 4 years old :) |
Thank you everyone for replying I didn't know they were called teapots. When I picked him out of the litter he was the biggest one and I couldn't resist!! I couldn't have asked for a better puppy either he really is good and so loveable I would love to post pictures I tried to but I don't think they load does anyone have any suggestions how I can get his pics on here? |
