Halo Vest for Presley..
 
So my Presley who turns 17 tomorrow has recently gone blind due to cataracts in both of his eyes. It has been killing us to see him bump into the furniture and walls. He hits them so hard and I just feel like he is going to give himself a concussion sometimes. So I began searching around for something that would help him.

I am going to take his measurements this weekend and order one. I will let you all know how it goes.

I was surprised our local news had done a broadcast on it. Just thought I'd share..

What a good doggy parent you are to find this for Presley! I hope you'll be able to take some videos to share with us, it'll be so interesting. TY

I am so glad I read this post. I am book marking the link you posted in case I ever need o get one. That is the most wonderful think I have ever seen and so glad someone came up with the idea for it. Please post picture when you get yours. I am very interested in hearing how it works out for your Presley.

I am taking his measurements today. Not sure how long it will take to get made but I will definitely take video to see if it works for us. I need to try something!

I ordered the vest yesterday. I think its going to take about 10 days. Its going to be the longest 10 days ever. If this works out, it will so come in handy when we go to the beach in September. He won't know his way around anything there. I hope to get pics and video for you guys.

Here is a quick video. We received it today. I don't know how to paste it directly in messages yet, but here is a link. I hope to get more up tomorrow. It's going to take a little bit for him to get used to it. He is a little unsure about what's going on. He kind of stands around a bit. He's hesitant, but he will figure it out soon. After 45 minutes he wanted it off. Haha.
