Best food for my Yorkie (Girl)
 
Hi all, i am new to this site, i have a question about what is the best food to feed my yorkie, she is 5kilo and her first birthday is next month.

I am feeding her twice a day, morning and then 6pm with Royal Canin yorkie biscuits and a small portion of boiled meat with it. she wont eat the biscuits without meat.

What is the best food i can give her? i only want the best for her and i dont care about how expensive it will be.

Unfortunately, that is like asking what is the best breed of dog to own! Everyone on here has their own preferance for what they think is best to feed your puppy. I would recommend you leave the pup on what you got her from the breeder on. Then, when she is settled and comfortable in her new environment, at about 8 months to a year old, and her stress level is way down, then you can start playing around with her food. New puppies have enough to get used to when they go to their new homes, without having the ONLY thing they have left that they are familiar with, their food, taken from them.

Thank you for replying - I appreciate your comment but when we got our Yorkie she was being fed IAMS, which in my opinion is just as bad as pedigree dog food. poor quality. That is why we put her on a proper brand. She attatched to us instantly and settled very well, so there is no problems there. She is growing up to be a very clever and happy little girl.

I want her to live her life as healthy as possibly that is why i ask the question about food. Apparently there is a brand called 'solid gold' which is ment to be good. But there is so many on the market.

burns puppy food with a bit of warn to soften it down for her puppyy teeth(in my opinion)also try adding a bit of cheese or apple to food)
