kibbles so here go's.we put out buddy's food (we feed him byrne's puppy food) and for the first couple of weeks add a little bit of warm water to it to soften it up for puppy teeth. And now he refuses to eat it dry or with water the person in equipet said he's been allowed get picky with his diet because as soon as we add a bit of ceaser to it he eats it all up any tips on weening him backonto the kibbles. thanks in advance |
Companies like Cesars basically feed garbage to our pets but use flavor enhancers in order to get the animals to eat something that is totally unnatural for them. I'm not familiar with what you are feeding but maybe use a little grated cheese instead of Ceasers to get him interested. Kibble is not really a natural food for our pets so sometimes it takes some convincing to get them to eat it. |
thanks for advice will try some cheese |
You could also try some boiled chicken diced up really tiny. That works with mine. Good luck!! Buddy is a cutie pie. |
White meat Chicken in the can We get the Bunblebee white meat chicken in the can for our 2 little guys. They are both small dog 4.6 and 6.5 lbs so they get a can a day. Half in the morning and half in the afternoon mixed with kibbles. We read that something crunchy is good for their teeth. |
thanks for the info |

Do you mean Burns dog food? If so, it's a very good choice 'over here'...:D I wonder why you're adding Caeser to it though - it's expensive rubbish.... If you need to add anything, why not add some Burns tinned food? It's of an equal quality to their brilliant kibble, and you'll only need a little bit....:) Sally + Harry :aimeeyork x |
thanks harry'smum we are actually using a tiny bit of pedigree puppy food now and he just need |

While you're littlie's still tiny, he really, really needs to be on the very best of ingredients....his little bones, teeth and everything are still forming....he needs all the very best that you can do for him....:) Imagine yourself with a newborn bubbie - trying to get the very best of everything into his little body. Please have a look at alternative 'wet food' additives - maybe Burns, Hills, Applaws, Lily's Kitchen....there are some really good ones out there!!! :D Sally + Harry :aimeeyork x |
am now taking gracieloves advice and just going to put a bit of cheese in it |
