I just wanted to post saying how great the Cloud 9 beds are from Yorkie Haven rescue! Callie loves hers so much it is her favorite place to sleep! There is NO OTHER bed like the cloud 9 and all the money goes to the Yorkies they rescue at Yorkie Haven Rescue! It is so awesome you can buy a great comfy pet bed your pet will love and help Yorkies in need! It's the only bed my Callie really likes and she has two and I also gave one to my moms Yorkie rescue Sammy for his birthday and he loves it, his beagle sister even tried to steal it lol.

Thanks she normal is not a dog bed kinda dog but she loves cloud9s! I didn't know they were different sizes is that new? I got this probably a year ago and it was just the normal one.

And Taylor...can you believe that ANYONE, ANYONE AT ALL, let alone a fellow member of YT would copy the pattern (which many people could do, BUT MANY PEOPLE WOULDN'T), ask one of the principals involved with donating their time and money to make them where she purchases the materials (stuffing), and then sells them for less money (COMPETING WITH YHR??? A RESCUE....REALLY???)...and swears on her mother's grave she would NEVER sell them.....NOT ONLY does she sell them but she has a FACEBOOK AND A WEBSITE just for those beds??? Really????? How low can one go??? Where are the morals and ethics of a person who would do this??? The same place her brain is....

Now I've seen everything....I can not for the life of me comprehend the creative spirit that sits in front of a sewing machine making CLOUD9 BEDS, CALLING THEM SOMETHING ELSE, with the soul intention of making CLOUD 9 BEDS FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT....WOW, WOW, WOW..... Congratulations YOU WIN EPIC FAILURE OF THE YEAR....

There I said it, it needed to be said....for the love of YHR Yorkies....

p.s. I think I will now go order some CLOUD 9 BEDS for YHR....

I saw that FB page too lynzy and I was in shock!! I could easily make one if I wanted since I sew but both of my cloud 9's came from YHR. By the time you bought materials and your time involved the cloud 9 is a great deal plus you are helping the pups in the meantime.
It's lower than low to copy and sell them to line your own pockets. Just unbelievable!!

But back to these awesome beds. My mom ordered one last year for Ollie, but he never gets to sleep on it. EmmaLee has claimed it even though it doesn't quite fit her dimensions :D

I think I need to order Ollie a new one for Christmas (and maybe get a few for my household, too.)

My two cents on this issue. This latest person is the second YT member to do this.

I do realize that there is such a thing as competition in the world of business; but one has to wonder WHO they think they are competing with. No one is making money on the beds that YHR is selling. The money goes to the pups and the only reason there is a profit is because YHR is not paying for them. The beds are made by myself and a couple of other members at OUR cost...we do not get ANY reimbursement from YHR. We DONATE the beds. So....YHR can afford to sell them at $40 which includes shipping. If a person really wanted to make money on those beds, trust me the cost would/should be much more if the person hoped to be successful. They are not cheap to make IF done properly. Now, shipping costs are about $6 - $12 per bed depending on the distance involved. So....YHR makes anywhere from $34 - $28 for each bed and 100% of that money goes to the pups veterinary costs.

The members of YT have been very generous, donating fabrics to YHR to make these beds and they also have advertised them over a period of time making it a great way for YHR to make money for the pups. So, in essence, these people who think they are
going to make so much money are only looking to take away from the pups. What I noticed today which really disgusted me is that the person listed the beds at $35 for the month of August. Of course, nothing is mentioned about shipping. I noted on her website that she charges $5 .. you simply cannot ship for that price so I guess that also cuts into her profits.

The only thing I can think of is that she is looking to grab some quick business to get her name out there??? I don't know. What I can say is she is NOT thinking of who she is trying to take money from.....sick and needy yorkies....OR she simply does not care which is very sad. Maybe she thinks she is hurting me? I don't know....I have always been very nice to her and supported her ventures to make money especially when her husband was out of work. I have helped her every time she asked me about medical issues with her pups. So...I just don't get this. She did ask me some time ago about how to obtain stuffing for the beds and she showed me a picture of one she had made. I confronted her right then about why she was doing this. She told me it was for HER pups because they loved the beds.

Well, after seeing her FB page and her website I know that was seriously not true. To top it off...she is now threatening to sell them on YT because I dared to confront her again. I was and am shocked.

This to me, is not what I call ethical enterprising.

I was shocked and mad and I can not imagine the karma that's gonna come back from that!

That's what makes me so mad she is taking money from the pups who have already been through god knows what. I can not imagine why anyone would do this. I know there are a lot of people that would never ever buy from her if she did sell them here and I think if she did she would get World War 3!

Thanks for the comments about Callie's pictures she loves her cloud 9 so much and when Sammy is over he likes to steal it to so I will probably buy another fleece one for when Sammy comes over at some point. Of course because the bed is pink and says Diva my dad like to joke that Sammy is a diva :)

where do i go to get a cloud 9? is there a website? a section?
