upside down table turned into doggy bed Has anyone seen or made a doggy bed from a end table. Seen them before, and I'm going to attempt it. Just wondering if anyone else has made one, or know what I'm talking about. Going with the shabby chic look! |
Never done it, but it sounds really cute... like a 4 poster bed, right? Seems like you could also make a canopy out of it pretty easily, too. Post a pic of the results when you're done! |
You could also make a "skirt" for it. Pull the skirt up, and you got a Crate ! |

It is pretty easy. We made one for a friend of mine. We went to the thrift store and paid $5 for the table. Painted it shabby chic. And found a really nice fabric and made a box pillow. We stuffed it with a pillow and batting around it. It came out really cute. |
I saw it on HGTV Star's segment of The Talk. It turned out really cute. Good Luck. My 2 "kids" sleep in our bed every night. I've got a little step stool for them to jump on & then up to the bed. Halle goes right under the blanket right away & Spike stays at he bottom of the bed on my afghan. |
My two sleep with us too. But I thought I'd keep it in my family room for her. Found a table at the thrift shop also. |
I saw all kind of beds at a dog show made out of old things like this including luggage. Really cute and such a good idea to recycle like this. :) |
