Outside Hi, My baby is 14 weeks old. He has had two of his shots and half of his third shot, going for the second half of the third in 2 weeks. (my vet suggested this because he is so tiny). Anyway, I want to potty train him to go outside but so many people are saying I should not take him out in the grass or on the deck until he has all his shots. I am not going to WALK him in our neighborhood until he has all his shots including his rabies but...... I am wondering if it is OK to let him potty (supervised of course) outside in the grass or on the deck? Cathy |
I would not take him out until 2 weeks after his last shot. Animals can get on your grass and deck. I would rather wait a few more weeks then be sorry |
Yeah, I would wait until after the shots are done. I know I have a fenced yard but all sorts of animals still get in my yard. |
I have heard more stories lately of pups getting sick some dying that I just would not chance it until 2 weeks after his last shots. |
