What is also odd is that there are no breeders of the Biewer located in Berks county unless your friend is not registered (which she should be)!!!!! If she was, she would have much more support when something like this happens. In any case, I live on the border of Berks Co. and I will copy and paste this on some local rescue sights for you. I do not want to be a pessimist here, but, if the dog was purchased with bad checks, there is really no way of knowing where the dog could be. I also never purchased/rescued a dog without there EVER beng a home inspection beforehand. So sorry your friend had to learn the hard way. I will do what I can since I live close by. Cash is a wonderful thing! I am so sorry to hear that there are people out there that would do this. It makes them untrust worthy even for this little guys care. Keeping them in my thoughts. |

That is really sad. Who knows if the "buyer" even used a real name? It's a difficult lesson learned. Having spoken with a number of breeders myself, I don't know too many who would hand over a puppy upon receipt of a check that wasn't a bank check or certified or cash. I've seen so many posts where people question breeders who use Paypal accounts -- well, here's a good reason. My prayers are for this baby. Good luck. |
Just horrible :(. I hope they find this little one. Not to go off topic, but I cannot tell you how glad I am to 'see' you here, lady! I wish it was under better circumstances. You have always been SO missed :love:. |

The breeder isnt from Berks Co. And Everything n I mean everything checked out with this buyer. I can't go into details (sorry), but say a little pray for him, I think that is all that can be done at this point. |

They know where the puppy is located but the woman refuses to answer the door for the breeder or police. |
Btw she accepted checks because she believed the woman was her friend. |
