It's funny you said this might be hard with 6 yorkies...we have four and if we say a loud NO, all four of them crunch down and put their ears back...it's too cute :) |
pee pee pads in the winter and outside in the summer! lol I always keep a pee pad in his pen for when I'm gone or have company so that if he absolutely must go he can. |

Lacey was paper trained. And she always would go on her paper. Newspaper was set in the laundry room in a certain spot for her. She was paper trained very early. Can't even remember her ever having an accident in the house after she was trained. We would just pick up her paper after she went and put down new paper after. But, we still took her outside because she loved it. And all dogs need excersise. If she had to go to the bathroom while she was outside, of course she would go. Paper training was great for us. We don't have to worry about getting woke up extra early, to let her out. Or have to get up in the middle of the night. And if we go somewhere, we don't have to worry about her having to hold her bladder all day. When we finally get Chloe, we are going to train her the same way that we trained Lacey. |
awwww that is adorable.....when i open the front door they all parade out onto the front porch in pck order...lol they are just so precious and fun. Quote:

gabbypatti- my family thinks i am crazy for training my puppy indoor on the pee pads, but i pay them no mind anymore. he is 98% trained @ 15 weeks so i have nooo complaints about this method. even yesterday when he was feeling under the weather, he had zero accidents. and also, it is sooo cold here right nowi would feel horrible exposing him to the harsh cold since he is so teeny i dont want him to catch a cold. you should be sooo happy that you got the potty training out of the way! :] congrats on the great inheritance. stormy- i only have one yorkie, i cant imagine trying to train four! the one thing i would suggest is getting an expen to limit their run of the house. line one side with the pee pads and be overly congradulatory when they go on the pads. dont give them the option of missing and they will eventually get the hang of it. :::crosses fingers::: good luck. |
Zeus uses the pads and it works great for us! |
