Hi everyone, I'm new here Hi all, Actually I am back to YT. I joined 81/2 years ago when I got my little KK. Have been inactive for several years. We just lost her a couple months ago in a tragic accident. She was my 2nd yorkie. I came back to YT to get some yorkie love. Only you all would understand how a little 7lb. ball of fur can absolutely turn your life upside down when you lose them. The grief has been so unbelievable for me and my husband. It's getting better. I don't cry everyday like I was. I just read "Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates" and it really helped. I am a Christian and I believe she is in heaven with our other fur children. We are dog people and we always have at least 3. We have a little dobie, Sissy, who is a rescue and a lab mix rescue named Dixie. Of course, KK was the "Queen". We are getting a lot better, one day at a time. Love reading all the posts and seeing everyone's pics. It won't be long we will have #3 I'm sure. MJ:) |
Welcome back! I'm so so sorry for your loss, losing a pet is always hard to go through and I dread the day I will have to face it too.:( |
Awww...yes I know the feeling and I too believe all dogs go to heaven!!! I'm sooo sorry for this loss and I really do hope you find another Yorkie to love! |
I'm so sorry for your loss. I, too, believe I'll see all my animals in heaven. Welcome back to YT. |
I'm so sorry for the loss of your little girl. I lost my last little Yorkie, Ashley, three years ago, and I remained on YT for two years without a Yorkie in my life. This is a wonderful, supportive, compassionate community. Last year, Katie joined our family, and I could not be more ecstatic. I still have a difficult time with the loss of Ashley and her sisters, but Katie brings me overwhelming joy and love and the memories of my little ones at the Rainbow Bridge also make me smile. I hope you can smile more than having tears for KK in time, and I also hope that, when you bring #3 into your lives, she will help to heal your broken heart. |
Welcome back to YT. I am so sorry to read about the loss of your little KK. I hope being back here at YT around others who understand your grief helps in a small way. |
I am sorry for the loss of KK. I hope you find another yorkie to love soon. |
I know it is a terrible thing to lose your best friend. I'm sure you smile when you think of all the joy KK brought to your family. These little pups have a way of digging right into our hearts and staying there. I'm sure you'll find another little love when the time is right. God Bless! |
Welcome back. I am so sorry for your loss |
Thanks for all your welcomes and kind words. I have some good news. My son told me that all our kids have joined together and are getting us a new baby! My daughter and family are coming this weekend from Hattiesburg, MS. for a visit and she is bringing the little girl with her! I am not supposed to know but my son called because he wanted to make sure that my husband would be OK with it due to grieving for KK. I feel like as soon as he gets a few puppy kisses he will be fine. This is the first time in 16yrs. I have not had a yorkie in my lap and in my life. We have 2 other big dogs and my lab has been so sweet and so extra loving. I was crying one day and she came and just laid her head in my lap. They know! The old dobie lays around more now with her bad back. But I know they are affected too. They don't come in the yard and greet us anymore... the "alarm" isn't there. So anyway, I won't spoil my daughters surprise. I will be thrilled. Can't wait to hold a new yorkie fur ball. Will be posting pics I am sure. I think my husband will be fine. We had Katie and then KK. Their memories will always be special. We will make new memories with the new puppy. One day we will see all our pets that have gone to rainbow bridge. |
Im so sorry for your loss of KK Im new here and trying to find my way around and saw your post and had to say so sorry. |
