Callie has more clothes than I do!

My pups aren't so lucky. Their clothes and accessories are organized in Rubbermaid boxes in my coat closet.

For all of you who would like a better space have you thought about redoing a shelf or two in your linen closet? I just love my little conversion (see earlier photo) & it's easy to start with just one shelf & add on later.

I could really use your help too! We're still in a basket at the end of the sofa. The hangers are a bit more expensive than I can afford. Remember I'm a stay at home wife! TeeHee! I'm very frugal & found the cheapest hangars I think. They're at Target for a little over $1 for 10. Pink, blue or white.

Those pink Target hangers are the ones I was using but boy I really didn't like them. The clothes fit weird on them and they are actually pretty space consuming. I did like the little pink clothes pins they came with though. They are fine honestly, they work but I'm really picky and slightly OCD :D


I absolutely love this armoir from GW Little but its pretty expensive. Maybe one day when I own a house I'll have a dedicated Yorkie Room and get the armoir :)

I'm picky too! I actually cut the hangers so they're not so deep. That way I can hang my spring rod closer to the back of my closet & have more room in front for hair accessories & jewelry. I cut them so all that's left is of course the hanger part, then the hook part-everything past & below the hook part has been cut off. I never got clothes pins with mine.

Has anyone tried a dresser or travel case meant for American Girl dolls or their knockoffs? Target and Walmart have some that look pretty nice and the prices aren't terrible.
The dolls are 18" so their clothes should be similar in size.

Mina's closet started off as my DHs American Girl Doll closet that was made from an old cradenza. This lasted her first summer. She is now using my grandmother's wardrobe with 3 small rods in it. There is a closet in one half and drawers in the other half. It is FULL she is now 2yrs old. I have loaned/given everything that she has outgrown to her little neighbor playmate.

Don't really want to hijack this thread but I thought since we are talking about dogs clothing...
I'm having the same issue, Miss Priss has a few clothes but she is a tangled mess when I undress her..Oh and I love the jumpsuits that Ami makes, love them and too cute.

Sorry to just jump in but I haven't had time to be here much,,love all the closets and ideas for keeping their clothing so nice..as of now Miss Priss's are hanging in the office closet with a lot of our stuff...I really am amazed at all of the clothes and accessories you girls have for your furkids. (((HUGS))) to all and I hope to be here more when things settle down here...

Mina's legs and body are cut with a #4 on the shears,her neck is a bit shorter. Her face is quite long and her topknot is long enough to braid,do pigtails or frenchbraid. She wears clothes each day and nighties or pjs at night. Because her body and legs are kept short she doesnt get tangles. I know that some people do a schnauzer type cut,,short body,long legs.
