Free Yorkies!!!!!! 4 Attachment(s) There was an add in our local paper... Two Free Yorkie Puppies. I don't know why I responded (I did use a "junk email" I have that I never use) This is the response - with pictures!!! Hello, Thanks for your interest in my yorkies and I am so glad you emailed in Response to the ad. I want you to know that I and my family (my wife And 3 kids are on a missionary trip to West Africa) along with the 2 Yorkshire terrier Puppies. So later on we notice that the weather here In Africa is very very bad for the puppies to sustain here with us on the missionary trip. before we place the add in state we did not see any respond from anybody so that is why we are Looking for someone to adopt our babies to the state back. I am very glad that you are willing to take care of them and provide them a good and wonderful home. And we're visiting 5 countries. We are giving these puppies out for adoption and we owe you many thanks for caring and asking about them. Right now there are so many factors and the weather is too hot for them and we don't want them to suffer in anyway.. We have been praying to have someone who can take good care of them and give them all the love in the world. That's all they want. We're due for more travel to some remote part of West Africa and we Cannot risk taking them along as we know it will have adverse effect on them, health wise. Shinja, this so sounds like a scam....I have seen this so many times, although not with correct use of the English language. Of course they want payment for 'shipment'...you send the money and never hear from them again...I have to wonder how many actually fall for this. |
I don't want to disappoint you, but this letter just screams scam. It has very oddly worded phrases. "we did not see any respond from anybody". |
I KNOW it is a scam... I hope yall didn't think I thought it was real. I have seen this scam when my dh was looking for his 300z .. when we were looking for a vacation rentals etc etc etc. I just wanted to post it mostly as a warning and for a laugh ... I sure hope no one falls for it. |
I think she knows it's a scam :) These are very common and it is sad when people fall for them. |
BEWARE. You know, when anything sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Sounds awfully suspicious to me. Probably the next thing they'll do is ask you to wire money to them and/or your credit card info. |

Darn, I wish I lived closer...but I couldn't pay for shipping right now anyways. :( I just sent all my money to a Nigerian Prince who needed help recovering an inheritance that is rightfully his. Don't worry he's going to pay me back plus give me a cut of his fortune once it's located. I have a feeling when I get my cut there will be another family on a missionary trip in Africa with Yorkie puppies in need though. Fingers crossed. |

don't feel bad... I sent some info a few years back on a scam like this for a car. I realized it but played along for awhile. I was suppose to send the money through what I know was a fake escrow company via western union.. when the money never arrived to the scammers they got so mad and said they were going to report me..really? I said ok I will just explain the fake escrow and all to who ever you report me to.. never heard from them again lol |
