Bump on Peanut's ear 1 Attachment(s) I found this on Peanut’s ear last night. I was making a big fuss over it and DH told me to calm down. This morning I did a little shave so I can see what it looks like… it is on the outside of his ear. It is hard, doesn't really move around.. Have anyone seen something like this before… I’m going to take him in on Sat to have the Vet look at it.. I texted Cathy (107Barney) She told me not to stress, that Barney has had 5 of them removed and tested. She said it could be Benign Adenoma or sebaceous.. which made me feel a little better, but you know how it is when it is your baby. UGH! More stress… just wonderful. |
Praying that it all will be fine. I'm sure it will be! |
I'm sure it will be fine, but I'm glad you are getting him into the vet. Let us know what the vet says! |
Mini actually had the same thing a couple months ago, it did eventually go away after some stuff came out of it (blech), its now fully disappeared. I panicked too. Weird how some things just pop right up out of nowhere. |

How old is Mini? I was talking to Morgan ( GeorgieMom) she said Georgie has gotten these too, a couple times.. she also said she started to see them at age 6, which Peanut just turned 6!! I'm going to put some neopolydex on it and wait a couple days see what happens, thankfully I shaved the spot so I can keep my eye on it! |

Sammy just went to the vet on Monday with a bump that looked very similar and on his ear but he rubs his face on things like toys and stuff and it busted open and was bleeding. Well the vet shaved the hair back and said it was a skin tag and on the skin tags they have such thin skin they can break open simi easily but his kept bleeding so they had to do a mild cauterizing on it that didn't hurt him. She said its really nothing to worry about and if he goes under anesthesia again for something like a dentle they can just take it off then. I hope it is what Sammy has and nothing bad. I will keep little Peanut in my prayers. |

omg 1 Attachment(s) Look what I found when I gave Mini a bath...how weird you should mention it, its not a good pic, she won't let me near her ears (long story)!! Anyway, it looks just like the pic you took but my pic skills stink, but hopefully it makes you feel better |

I remember my mom's shih-tzu started getting bumps when she was older and the vet told her not to worry. She got more as she aged, but they never caused her any problems. |
