Very lucky guy! Or maybe bc he's human? When these larvae break their body can give off a toxins that can cause anaphylaxis in the host (in dogs, anyway). Yuck! |
WE call them wolfs where I'm from. I live in the country so every year we had several horses, pigs, and goats that had them. Nasty little devils. My grandpa is a vet and he used to remove them from our animals. I will never eat pasta after seeing the larva being pulled out. |
