I've noticed now it's been a month now that Miki's one ear has been down. At 3 months they were up but while she was losing and growing teeth they went down and back up and now one is just up. Almost two weeks ago she grew in another adult tooth at the bottom but I don't know if she's done teething. Would they still be teething at close to 7 months? And as for her ear, I'm fine either way with which ever direction--north or south. Haven't taped nor shaved her ears. I massage her ear but I'm too afraid to hurt her so I don't shave them. And I hadn't started and don't plan on taking her to the groomer yet due to a bad experience with a groomer with my previous yorkie, Mya. Also, does it matter that she started teething later than her siblings?

Ohhh she is just so adorable. I just want to pick her up and squeeze her.

Well thanks, sweetie! Too bad though that my question still hasn't been answered yet. I see some views... hmm. I guess I must be the only one that has a yorkie still teething at nearly 7 months... :rolleyes::)

My Molly was teething until almost 8 months so hang in there. her ears would go up and down all the time. I hope your little one gets done teeting soon. I know that Molly didn't eat well for about 3 weeks which worried me and when she did eat it took her forever to eat just 1 kibble. I ended up having to give her wet food from a can per her vet.

Bella is 5 months old, other than lots of chewing I haven't noticed any differences. Both ears have stayed up, her eating habits haven't changed.

I would shave her ears. I think they look cleaner, and not all ears with the tips of the ears shaved. Just tip the top 1/3 of the ears, and it will pop back up. The additional weight is harder to get the ears back up. She should be done teething soon too.

Aaw, poor babe. I hope she finish soon too because with all the teething going on she keeps me on my toes watching her since she likes to get a hold of just about anything.

I tried today and she wouldn't be still. I was using very small clippers. So I just cut the edges and some of the tips with scissors. Hopefully that work some I suppose. I was surprised to see how small her ears really are! O.o That was a lot of hair just from the edges and tips.

My Sophie is just a little over 7 mo. and is still teething. I want to have her spayed soon but the vet wants to wait till her canines are fully in. He said it wasn't that unusual for these little babies to go through teething late or to drag it out. He said one of his yorkie patients was still teething at 1 yr.:eek:
