Hi... Hi, Any good puppy food, Molly went completely off dry food so ended up on tinned food...by the bucket towards the end :D |

Raw diet is great for pregnant mums, she will need lots of protein http://www.mountaindogfood.com/RawHe.../pregnancy.pdf |

Keep in mind, what goes in, must come out, and it's helpful if you encourage that. Walking her a couple times a day, promotes digestion and the distribution of nutrients within her. |

Also... I'm not sure what you intend to do with her Puppies (keep/sell/give away) but please PLEASE try to keep all of them with their Mother 11-12 Weeks. This makes an immense difference in their socialability and health as they grow older  |

I feed Royal Canin HT42 from heat cycle on for 42 days, then I give her dry Royal Canin Puppy. If she goes off feed, I mix a little canned puppy in with the dry. |

I feed the puppy form of whatever food she is on at the time. Plus I always add a little can puppy food to the mix about 6 week into the pregnancy. Its not really a good idea to switch foods because it will cause issues with loose stool and possible upset stomach. Normally any food change should be done gradually. |

I always recommend Chicken Soup Puppy dry puppy food, Canidae or Natural Balance. Those are the brands I am most familiar with. Here is a link to a good website where you can check out the different foods. Dog Food Reviews - Main Index - Powered by ReviewPost Personally I don't like feeding any of the brands of food with corn in them. If you do decide to change her to a different brand be sure to do it slowly. As for canned food, I prefer Pedigree Healthy Digestion or Pedigree Beef and Chicken puppy. I also do not recommend a dog food that is real high in protein content. I prefer around 28% for my dogs. |
