We got our ramp!
 
We love it, and so does Peanut. See video here-


The quality is awesome! It is made so well- heavy duty, great carpet, ugh I cant say anything bad! The guy who made it us awesome too. He contacted Dh and wanted to give us a credit for the shipping. He charged us $30 for standard U.S shipping, but I guess it was a little cheaper- Dh told him to save it for when we order our second one!! We want to order one for the couch!!

I never seen Peanut so comfortable with something new, esp something like this. He loves it- I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a ramp!!

Here is the ebay link, he has different ones already made. If you want a certain size he will custom make one ( like us) Dh wanted one to fit perfectly between the wall and bed, and wanted it the height of the bed.

I love the ramp - mine don't like the steps we got them so we pick them up and put them on the bed and place them on the ground when they want down. I will have to look into getting one of these.

I heard the ramps are better for their limbs, esp dogs with LP or even older dogs. I hear ya, even with those cheap steps I bought at CVs he would be a pogo stick next to me till I picked him up. He would use the steps sometimes and wanted to be picked up probably 99 percent of the time!

We have had it now for 2 hours and not once has he been a pogo stick wanting me to pick him up!

Brandi doesn't have a ramp but she has steps. As Brandi is an older pup (13 in July), I will have to look into getting her a ramp. For now though she doesn't have a problem using the steps.

She used to be a pogo stick at night even with steps but I started ignoring her no matter how hard it was and now she uses the steps at least 90% of the time. I am so glad she does because I actually sleep through the night now.

Ahh sweet Brandi. I think the ramp would be perfect for her.

LOL I hate when they pogo stick! You feel so bad, but you want them to use their darn ramp/ steps. I would always give in and just pick Pnut up LOL, but lately he would pogo stick, then I would go down to pick him up and he wouldn't walk towards me. LOL He use to always turn around and walk backwards so I would be able to pick him up- all of a sudden he just sat there and looked at me like Ya Mom I'm over here, come get me LOL!
