LOL I definitely get the cold shoulder from Lexi. (After I brush her, clean her, pick her up when she is in the middle of playing and doesn't want to go-even will get a growl or two!) She will go out of her way to get away from me and run and hide by her daddy!!! Of course Daddy doesn't even attempt to do anything that precious Lexi would get upset over! It takes her awhile but then she loves me all over again and forgets until the next time!! Diva girl!! |

dog Jojo gets mad and sometimes has a big meltdown. He goes after spud and i have to break up a little fight. But yorkies are so forgiving he is back on track soon. Spud is sweet never a fuss from him. |
Oh yes they don't like it at all when they are told off, I've had Tufty leave the room in a huff. But I ground them and make them lie down across the room and they aren't allowed to come and snuggle with me. |
Sugar does this too. If I go away for a few days she sleeps on the furthest end of the bed away from me. Like she can't stand the sight of me  WhEn I go to work I hold her and tell her I'm leaving and ask for a kiss. She about breaks her neck looking the opposite way so as not to accidentally kiss me  |

Bella will give me the cold shoulder and go to daddy if I scold her or groom/bathe her. They are just so stinking cute! |
Lol oh yes, Bette does it if I tell her no. Today I told her off and she went into the bedroom and jumped on the bed and turned her back on me. When I went to coax her out she was having none of it. No kisses, no licks just a haughty hard done to expression. Gotta love the little devils x |
So glad I'm not the only one. She was starting to give me an inferiority complex!!! LOL |
lol- so glad I'm not alone in having a diva yorkie. Molli does this to me all the time! She has a few bad habits and if I catch her in the acts and reprimand her she either stalks off and pouts for a while (far away from me) or goes and loves on Daddy while giving me the stink eye. I've worked with dogs many years and yorkies are some of the most human like dogs I know! I swear they even understand me. This morning I was saying something to DH2B about how Molli was a bad girl (she stole my chapstick and hid under the bed and wouldn't come out) and she gave a little whine, looked up at him with little puppy dog eyes and ran over to him and jumped up for hugs. You'd think I beat her! Of course what'd dh2b do? Say 'Aw my sweet little angel would never do that' and gave her love and hugs. Little stinker! |
Can these dogs of ours actually have their feelings hurt? Does stopping them from doing something they want to do hurt their feelings or do they just get mad at us, I wonder? |
Oh Guinness is very guilty and if I am REALLY in trouble then I get a turd in front of my bedroom door  |
