Yeah she hasn't puked yet! I just gave her water too she drank it right up!! Georgia took her on car rides plenty of times to help her get used to the drive home. She's doing great! Still asleep in my lap!

She's a REAL beauty. She reminds me of Lucy as a pup too. Her fur looks wonderful! And that little nose!!

Truly a fine looking Yorkshire Terrier.

Enjoy the ride! This is the easy part. Her true "yorkie" nature probably won't show itself for a week or so.

I agree, Miley is a beauty! Glad to hear she is doing well in the car. Sounds like her breeder did a fantastic job in preparing her for her homecoming.

Yes, her breeder sounds great! She's such a doll-thanks for sharing the photos. Were you able to get one of her mom? Maybe the breeder has one for us to see?

Here's Miley in her collar and size 2 fairy dust buddy belt! She's definitely going to grow into this she wears it on on the smallest hole!

Courtney, I'm so excited for you! There is nothing like raising a puppy. They are so sweet and give you so much love. She is a lucky puppy to have such a sweet new mom!:hearts6:

Congrats! I remember the car ride home with Hazel she was a sweet little angle snuggled up to me a week and a half later she owned the house lol I love every second of it thoe and I know you will too, enjoy your precious Miley she is absolutely adorable.

Miley and I are home now!! She did awesome in the car! Now that we are home she doesn't want to be touched (she runs away) and she just sits in her bed :( is this normal? She seems so sad :'(

It's perfectly normal. She's in new surroundings - new sights & smells & her brothers are gone. Give her a few days to a week. What she's showing you now is not HER personality at all. She'll perk up very quickly. Best wishes, Tracey

The first night I brought Betty Boop home, almost 4 years ago, I don't think she slept a wink. She wanted to roam. I think she was trying to find her sister. The next day she started following me around and not letting me out of her sight. I kept reassuring her of my love for her by picking her up a lot and holding her. It took her a while to get familiar and comfortable with her new surroundings.

She has not let me out of her sight to this day nor have I let her out of mine. :D. So just give her time to familiarize herself and to bond with you. You two will be inseparable and the best of friends in no time. It might help if you put her bed in your room at night so she can be close to you.

I sure would like to see pics of that little cutie when you get a chance.

I did and she kind of just looked at me. I tried giving her a Cheerio and she didn't want it. Should I try taking her outside in front of my house? I'm just nervous what if other dogs where in that spot?
