She will be better in a day or two. Just keep reassuring her. You shouldn't take her out where other dogs have been until she has had all of her shots. Just to be safe. They are so quick to grab up anything like bird or squirrel poop. Ya know? Is she drinking and eating? I know that I had to put a teaspoon of baby food with Jasper's kibble the first day or so to get him to eat. She will be okay. Is she in your room with you? |

She is okay sweetie. Sometimes their hair can poke them in the eyes and make them water. That's what the vet told me. Its good that she drank water. She is going to have accidents. Maybe start her training tomorrow if that makes you feel better. I'm glad you have her right next to you. Will she get to sleep with you or are you going to kennel train? Do you have puppy pads you can put down to help her to start learning not to tee on the floor? You are a great mommy seeking out help for her :) I really think you will start to see more of her personality tomorrow. |

You have nothing to apologize for. Ask away with any questions. Nobody here minds and there are so many people who know so much about yorkies. Jasper is my first one and I still read and ask questions. That's how we learn. I'm sure Miley will be missing her mommy and brothers, so your love and patience will get you both through it. I can't wait to see how your night actually goes. She may be really tired from the trip and sleep most of the night. That would be awesome, huh? Lol |

Exactly....makes me tired just thinking about a 10 hour car ride. Haha :D I'm so glad you were fortunate enough to find a really good breeder. :) |
1 Attachment(s) Here she is sleeping right up under me. Sorry about my shirt she rubbed against me and lifted it up a little and I didn't want to move her. |

I started out with 2 pads side by side for Jasper. Then after he started getting the hang of it, we only use one. It takes a lot of patience and work to housebreak them. Jasper still has accidents. Just remember that her bladder is really small. So, she will have to go frequently until she can control it as she gets older. There are some really good tips in the Training section to help you. |
