Silly thread - Feet and other cool things So I was reminded today and yesterday, that I have a part of my body, that dogs absolutely adore. I'm talking 90% of the dogs. Now I have tried smelling that part, I look at it, and for the life of me I can't understand why. Awh I see you with bated breath waiting for the grand announcement of what part that is....:D It is my feet! Oh dear. And I have pretty small feet. They DO NOT SMELL to my nose. And honestly I wash them a lot. IN fact every day! Many dogs noses (er ummm I have to say the "impolite ones") upon meeting me, and accepting my pets, then inevitably their nose gravitates downwards to my FEET. Encased with socks and sneakers, a tad better; but watch out if I wear sandals! So do you have an irrestible to doggie's noses part of your body? |
Max is attracted to women's feet. He loves painted toenails in sandals. It embarrassing. At home, Max & Teddy sniff our mouths a lot. |

Hi from the UK :) This isnt yorkie related, but one of my mums jack russells called Twinkle will always sniff and lick at a tattoo I have on the inside of my left wrist. The tattoo is of two black paw prints, but Twinkle doesnt bother with the tattoo I have on the inside of my right wrist of a purple tribal phoenix. The paw prints were in memory of my dog called Tess, who died in 2008, two months before Twinkle was born. |
We have two feet sniffing/licking Yorkies in my home, lol. I agree it can be embarrassing in public. If I take them out somewhere during sandal season I have to keep a constant watch because if you give them too much leash some stranger is about to get a toe licked! :) |
Kudos likes to lick fingers, wrists, face and sometimes ears!! Especially mine.:p |

hehe cedric has to lick everything...fingers hands toes feet ...legs arms...my face...i need it washed often by his terms! ..keylo is just about fingers and lola has no interest in that she just wants to give big tongue kisses!! |
Rufus is attracted to my feet. Everytime I'm sitting behind the pc, he lays down between my feet for me to rub his belly :D |
No matter what I do if Callie meets someone who is wearing shoes where you can see part of there bare foot she has to sniff and yes lick there foot. At home if you freak out about it like my grandpa does when he is getting ready for bed it makes her run up touch and lick them and then take off 90mph and it cracks me up. I don't freak out so she only occasionally gets mine. She loves ears too oh goodness if she can get to your ear watch out your getting a wet willy lol. |
Here's another weird habit I forgot to mention. If you leave the bathroom door open when you get out of the shower both of mine will come in and try to lick the water off your legs. It's amazing the things I let these dogs get away with, lol |

Tibbe is nuts for my hair and scalp! He almost always smells my hair and then closely sniffs my scalp before he lays down beside me. Never had a dog so into hair! Jilly was a foot lover. |
