I wish I would have been a member on here a few years ago to learn about the onesie. That cone was torture. Here is a picture of him after the surgery. BTW he does have 2 ears, one is just folded back for some reason.

Glad to hear he is home and doing well. Max had a little redness and after trying to stand up on his hind legs, he had some more bruising. Keep an eye on it.

How many hours has he been home and not peed? It's possible the vet's office gave him a potty break right before you picked him up.

Maybe 2-3 hours. I just layed him down for bed and he curled right up and went to sleep. I'm laying next to him so if he whines in the middle of the night I will let him out to go to the bathroom.

It seems like Fritz took a while to go to the bathroom too. I felt like maybe he was holding it as long as he could because he was hurting. ???

Glad to hear he is sleeping. 2-3 hours wouldn't worry me. He probably had a break before you picked him up, and he will probably wake you in the middle of the night.

Ok thanks, I'm slightly more paranoid right now then normal. All he wants to do is rest, and he did look like he was in some pain or scared to do his business.

Poor baby! He'll be his normal self in a very short time! Frankly, I'm usually more afraid of anesthesia than the procedure itself. He got through it and he'll be fine! Best wishes, Tracey

He might be overwhelmed by all that went on today and a little confused. If he wakes in the middle of the night and still appears to look scared to pee, I would call your local emergency/24 hour vet and ask what they think.

If I recall correctly when I brought Max home from his surgery, he took one long pee (obviously he hadn't had a potty break because he was desperate to get home to his pad). Then that was it for the rest of the night.

Glad everything went well and he is home. It takes a little time but he will be back to his old self in no time

So an almost midnight update, took a little begging on my end but he finally went to the bathroom, and judging by how much he went he had to go for a while. Now back to bed for us need to be awake in 4 hours for work...

I'm glad that he finally went potty. Keep an eye out for a poopy. My male was sore for the day of his neuter, but was active the very next day.

Great news! I'm sure you both were relieved. :) Hopefully you will be able to catch up on sleep tomorrow night.

In more ways than one :) my wife worked the over night shift yesterday so I'm glad she will be home with him all day today. I could tell this morning at 5am when I got up he is starting to come around.
