A New Addition to Family !!!!
 
xxx :p I was just recently given a Male Yorkie actually like3 hrs. ago I have no idea how old or his health he appears to have had a broken left foot. I Love dogs and feel very knowligable about them I do have 6 other small dogs different breeds and he seems to be a well behaved little boy...... I need a name for him so any suggestions feel free to reply... Always a Doggieeluver Jessi

Welcome to YT! Poor puppy! I sure hope you are taking him to the vet tomorrow. Poor baby...

It actually appears to have been an old injury I already called my Vet to see what she thinks and she laughed and "Said Mrs. Armstrong, Your heart is so big for all these puppies, you know my reply if you feel that he is ok then go with your instinct" I have saved MANY of my own dogs and Many more stray dogs lifes with only a few calls to my vets office. :)

Welcome to YT.... and congrats on your new yorkie! I hate to hear about the possible broken foot though. :eek: What were the circumstances of you acquiring the dog? Wow... 6 other dogs! I bet you have your hands full! :) Keep us posted on your new addition and be sure and have the vet check the fellow over good! :)

He was apparently a stray and my neighbors have been debating on what to do with the little man so he has spent the last 2 weeks in some kennel and they were moving back to Boston and didnt want to take him so they asked if we wanted him other wise he was off to the pound tomorrow..... I could NEVER let a dog go there.... :(

Well, Welcome! I'd have a vet see that pup ASAP to get an over-all evaluation. If he has something, you don't want your other furbabies to get it. Best of luck to ya!

I plan to as soon as they open back up tomorrow !!!!! I still need a name for the little guy

Awwww...that is sooo awesome that you took in a new baby! :hug: He is very lucky! Can't wait to see pics!

Well his vet check was brief I take him back in Sunday for the Microchip and to get a full physical they did however tell me that his foot is not nor has it ever been broken just the way his bones are :) and I asked how old he was they guessed about 4 or 6 so he is still a young man and has plenty of life left and he's very well mannered.

well first off Congrats on the new baby! And I understand by just calling the vet and asking. lol I've had so much experience in the past that now some things my dogs get are just routine and I know how to take care of them like the back of my hand! I agree that Boston would be a cute name since he actually couldn't go! Lucky does come to mind, but it's so unoriginal! And personally, I've always loved the name Pippin for a boy. It's just very cute! haha You could wait til you get to know his personality a little and see what fits him. Good luck with your new furbaby!
