So glad you took him to the vet, I was so worried about an ear infection, that's how they act when they have one. These little ones can scare us to death, can't they.

Ditto on that... Yorkies seem to be more on the sensitive side than other breeds. Also, I was thinking your vet would at least give you some allergy meds just in case. I guess you can always go out and get baby benedryl in an emergency.

He might've been trying to rub the perfume off lolll...I have one that is very sensitive to scents & can't use any sprays on her or she'll rub herself everywhere for hrs.

Ok. He keeps shaking his ears. I used ear wipes from Petco 2 days ago, maybe he's allergic to that?

Other than the little piece of cheese and piece of watermelon he had last night, I can't think of anything else :-/ or maybe allergy to the perfume? I already took the shirt out and covered his bed with a blanket.

The vet said he would give me medicine for allergies but he didnt want to do that because Bentley is so little.

Ugh! I hate seeing him like this. He looks so uncomfortable :(

Zoey used to go nuts after I cleaned her ears with something I bought in store so after doing some research, I bought Zymox ear cleanser. Zoey still didn't like it but she didn't go all crazy after.. Maybe the cleaner you're using is irritating her ears?.. I remember the vet telling me certain solutions/cleaners are "harsh" on the small breed's ears.

I'll stop using it until he feels better. The vet checked his ears a couple of times, and Bentley kept moving so he could be just sore from this morning :confused:

I dont know. When do yorkies start teething? He's 10 weeks old.

Perfume gives me a headache if I wear it too many days in a row too! Poor baby!!

Well I am here at the vet again :(. I called and told them he's going crazy running around the house and shaking his head, moving his ears... So they told me to bring him again at no charge. They say if they dont find anything again, they could give me some Benadryl. Is Benadryl ok for a 10 week old puppy?

If the vet says it is, I would go with it. When you get home, I recommend taking the pad out of his crate and washing it. If you don't have a replacement, just put a folded towel in the bottom until the pad is clean. I would just make sure it isn't the perfume.

Well, something is wrong with the poor little guy. I would have a different vet take a look at him. Sometimes an extra pair of eyes can spot something that someone else may miss. I hope they find the problem. No pup would act like that for no reason.

Poor baby. It sounds really like an ear infection. I know when Lexi (mini schnauzer) gets one she crys. Just kills me. She will shake her head and I know they must be painful. We put EnteDerm in her ears and clears it right up. Hope you find out something and he gets better. Its terrible when they are sick.

I know. I just hate when they can't think of anything thats wrong and send you home with nothing. Obviously something is wrong. They dont run around scratching themselves against the walls and floor for nothing :(. I will look for another vet if his allergy continues tomorrow. I hope not.
