Callie breaks out like crazy to any grains and although I love Fromm she broke out to there grain free too. We tried Now Small breed the pieces are the smallest I have ever seen and for the first time ever my dog actually likes her dog food and will even eat it on her own when I had to hand feed her for years to get her to eat some of anything and she would never eat even close to what she was supposed to and now she does. I would try out the Now Small breed. |
The Taste of the Wild we used to feed was potato, I was concerned switching to Earthborn with the large amount of pea,- but my three made the quick transition (because of the recall) without a single burp;). |

My mind is so brain dead with reviewing dog foods and ingredients! I found another one that looks good Canidae grain free. Any one try this food? It has a five star rating. My vet orders it for a few dogs with sensitivities. What do you think about this food? Only thing is it has high protein except for Land with Bison. |
Luma eats CC Open Sky as well and does pretty well on it. I tried her on lots of different foods including Natures Variety and Fromm, she was a mess on the Fromm!!! Never again! Like I said, the CC is going okay with her but she still has issues. I am thinking a lot about PMR feeding now. Doing my research first though. Good luck! |
Mine are eating canned Weuva (love it but it's pricey) so I am mixing it with Earthborn holistic grain free in the little plastic tubs and Fromm's grain free. Roxie didn't do to well on the Fromm's at first but she was dealing with a reflux problem that seems under control. I have started her back on it. I like the company and the size of the kibble. |
I think the Canidae all have potato. Did you look at Nutrisca Salmon? |
