Oklahoma Relief I thought I would share this. OSU Veterinary Medicine training program is offering free treatment for the animals affected by the Oklahoma disaster. They are also accepting donations to help offset the cost. OSU Animal Relief Fund I really can't afford to send much at all, but if everyone even just sent a few dollars, this would help this important effort. |
They have a minimum donation amount to pay by card online. I have just sent an e-mail to the person in charge of the fund to ask if there is an address donations can be sent to. I'll post it as soon as I hear back. |
Thanks for sharing. OSU is my school, go Buckeyes ! |
Thanks for letting us know. |
Finally heard back from OSU. If anyone prefers to mail checks for donations here is the following information. Annemarie, We are grateful for any amount you can donate as every dollar helps. Please make your check payable to the OSU Foundation and write OSU Animal Relief Fund in the memo line. Please mail it to: Oklahoma State University 308 McElroy Hall Stillwater, OK 74078 Donations received will be used to cover the care of animals hurt during these devastating storms as we are not charging the owners for veterinary care we may provide. The owners have been through enough and we want to do everything we can to help their animals pull through this ordeal. Thank you so much for your compassion and gift, Derinda Derinda D. Thanks for sharing that information Anne! With all the problems the people have in OK, it's nice that this group is offering free vet care. :) Warms my heart. |
thanks for the info |
Yes...and, as I understand it, the AKC CAR has made or is making a $10,000 donation...you can donate to the effort to help these poor animals through them as well. |

No kidding! My older sister graduated OSU...been there many times myself...but it would be "Go Cowboys!" for the Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK...lol I LOVED OSU's Periodic Table of Elements...they actually had a sample of 'most' of the elements you could look at...very cool!...still have the photos...or maybe they were in my Mom's collection. It would have been my school, but I moved right after high school graduation. OSU had some great programs...was a very nice school IMHO. |
