Due to having a yard and large loose dogs in my community Cody does not go on daily walks. Back yard has no interesting smells unless that pesty squirrel scampered across it or the chippy buried a nut back there, so walks are long, not a long walk it just takes long to walk past 4 homes, due to every blade, every rock, pebble, newspaper post has to be sniffed lol. Because it's not a daily thing and not a potty walk because he'll potty in the yard before walks, it's just a walk for him to know the area in case god forbid he should get out of the house he will know (hopefully) where he lives. So the sniffing is a luxury to him and I allow it,so what could be a 15 minute walk about ends up to a 45 minute walk. |
