iris playpen users do your baby like to chew on the playpen? Jasmin has been chewing on her playpen. We have to cover the sides plexiglass and the top with shelving wires so she can't jump out of. We ended up spending over $100 to make this playpen safe for her. |
I ordered the Iris playpen for Calvin, but returned it before he even came home! The breeder told me that he was already climbing out of his puppy pen, and the Iris had a lot of horizontal bars so I got a different one. |
Yup, the Iris looks cute, but it's such a bad design. I bought one when ZoE was a puppy, she scaled those vertical barred walls the wall within a day...it's been in my basement ever since then. I wouldn't recommend it anyone. |
I love the design and it matches our kitchen. Now we will be going with those black crate. We are getting an x-large so she has rooms to move around. |
I have used the Iris pen for several years without any problems, very easy to clean...so sorry it didn't work for you |
We have a 36 " tall isis pen and love it, never thought I'd be using it for almost 2 years but it comes in handy for Abby's timeouts. She is a good sized (7lbs) and an amazing jumper but she has never attempted to climb out (we always use the door) or chew(we always leave some favorite toys in there). We just use 4 of the 8 panels now. |
LOVE it. It was a life saver for us. We have the 36" and extra panels. We only put Margaux in it when we leave the house but she goes in herself all the time. It is her special little happy place :) Unless we are going to be gone for a while I leave it as a square. It is SO easy to add and take out the panels. I use the extra panels in sets of two as gates all around the house. |
I love it too. Just wish Jasmin wasn't such a chewer. She has toys in there with her. However, she must have separation anxiety or something she likes to chew on the sides. We have the 36x36x24. |
