Sophie Kate and I are getting ready, anyone else going?

We are taking a special friend Yoshi also.

I hope you had fun! I took Chloe there today. 14 Yorkies were there. Can you believe 12 boys and only 2 girls I would have thought it would had been the other way around 2 boys and the rest girls. But from talking to other Yorkie owners they all pretty much prefered boys over girls alot stating boys bond better than the girls. Maybe they are right, Chloe seems to love my DD sometimes more than me even thou I'm the one who take total care of her.
Chloe was the only one dressed up but she had to make a good appearance right. LOL The dog trainer from Petco was the speaker and mostly promoting the dog trainning Petco offered there. They did ask everyone what they feed their Yorkies and then handed out $3 off coupons for RC. They didn't talk about RC food they only asked what you feed your Yorkie. They also gave handouts of Clickers and 25% off grooming services coupons. Chloe had a good time meeting doggies like her. Wished I had taken pictures but I left my camera and cell phone home by accident. :( All the Petco's are having this today and tomorrow from 1 to 2. I'm going to try to go to another Petco tomorrow hopefully I don't forget my camera so I can to take pictures. :)

Thanks for the info, I hadn't heard of this. I just called my 2 Petcos & there were 2 dogs at one & none at the other today. I still may try it tomorrow, hoping there will be more there.

I went... it was one in the palmetto bay area of miami. There was one other yorkie there. It was fun to play a bit but then they had a "presentation" about how to bursh, feed, cloth etc your yorkie. I was good, I smiled and said thank you.:) Geezzee I have a 3 year old, you would think I know a little by now:rolleyes:

It would have been fun if there had been more people, when I called before the event to be sure they (petco employee) acted like they didn't know what I was talking about.

We are going tomorrow at the local Petco in Virginia Beach.

I went to one in Houston, TX. Gi and I were the only one. Finally someone else came in with two other females. Since it was just the two of us, they asked it we would come back tomorrow. They had poor planing at this PetCo. They also had adoptions and a shot clinic going on. There was really no space for us, so hopefully tomorrow it will be better.

All the ones around me were cancelled.

I'm going to see if Bentley is up to it tomorrow. He's recovering beautifully from his neutering. He even went to visit the grand humans this evening. And is running around my apartment like a nut as I type this. (He slept all day.)

Well we went to another meeting of the Yorkie's at another Petco the afternoon. Again Miss Chloe was a social butterfly. Only 5 yorkies were there , but it was fun. I took a few pictures but they are kinda blury because they were running and moving around so quickly. Three 3 girls and 2 boys this time. In the first picture Chloe meets Fred 4months old. In second picture then there were three Chloe meet Sam he was the oldest 14 years old he ran around and had more energy then all the other pups. In the third picture a better shot of Sam. In the fourth picture Abigail she is 6 months old her sister Amie also 6 months old was on the other side of the Petco speaker, oh yes Chloe in the back ground seeing what she can mooch off other people.

And this last picture all 5 of them Fred,Sam Amie, Abigail And Chloe . It was a fun afternoon at the Yorkie meetup at Petco.

Aww look at all the new friends, glad you guys had a nice time.

We went yesterday.....there was our 3 and 2 others! Of course I dressed the girls! They gave us a tour and we got to ask questions of the groomer. We were told by the trainer the ours were so well socialized and friendly....I was very proud of my babies! The staff came and admired them and one even brought over a shirt for Max, which we bought! They set up a playpen so they could all check each other out.....we sat and talked for a good 1 1/2 hours, then had a grad party to go to. It was fun, but not many there!

Sorry we missed it. Ian was recovering from his dental, and had to take it easy. Maybe next time.

Aww I tried to go but I got there to late.. But now I know all about the social meet ups they have on mon & Fridays. Bella ended up getting spoiled rotten though, lots of toys, new bed, new treats, and a nice sanitary cut lol. :p

We went to our local one and no one was there, not even the presenter!!!!i guess nobody knew about it.
