MY girlfriend had to have her silky/ yorkie put down on mothers day and I loved Kloee so much, she was chesters buddy. I felt so bad, I was out of town and I could not be with her. Im so mad at the vet, it was not our usu al, vet, she went to a vca animal hospital that is open 24 hrs and they wanted to do chest xray and blood work, I was outraged. She has heart failure and has been on lasix and heart meds and has recently went down hill. I talked to the vet tech and they said if they gave her extra lasix and she was on prednisone, they was worried about kidney and liver failure, and I said what difference does it make, she is going to doogie heaven soon and you want to do this. She had a xray from august at this same place. I told my friend that kloee could not spend her last hrs with a uncompassionate vet, the vet tech was her only saving grace. Im going to talk to the medical director so this does not happen to someone else. I work in the medical field and some drs, do extra tests, that make no sense to me. Sorry for the lost post, I loved kloee and no one deserved this butt head of a vet

:( I'm very sorry you and your GF had to go through this. Some vets just aren't very compassionate. RIP Kloee. :(

How sad. I am so sorry Sandy... It is hard enough to make that decision, but to have a butt head vet on top of that? Geez. We put down my childhood dog this winter and I have never had to make such a tough decision.

I am so sorry. I just don't understand the lasck of compasion of some in the medical field... some are wonderful some need to take a break I think

I'm so very sorry all of you had to go through this :(

I'm sure she is at peace, healthy and watching over everyone together with our dear Lord :hands:
