Newbie Hi, my name is Janice and I am from Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. I have a little girl yorkie and her name is Maggie. She is 15 weeks old and adorable. I will post a pic When I figure it out. I just want to say I love your forum you all have contributed great information that I am sure will come in handy. I would like to ask if anyone has used a supplement for prevention of hyperglycaemic. I was reading somewhere last night where you should feed your Yorkie Nitrical for 3 months. Happy to be here! |
Hello & welcome! This is a great forum for info & friends! About the nutri cal, if ur puppy has a good appetite then I don't think it's needed. I stopped giving it back at 6-7 weeks cause Bella was eating well. My vet said do not give it unless its needed due to all the sugar in it, and a puppy is hyper enough lol. Hope to see lots of pics of Maggie :) |

Welcome to YT! To post a picture, you have to resize it to 600 or less pixals, for the threads, or 100 for the avatars. (I think) :) There's directions in the picture posting section about it. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...-pictures.html I can't wait to see her! |
Welcome aboard!! :D Can't wait to meet your little girl. Nutri-Cal is very popular and a great thing to have on hand for the picky eaters to prevent the drop in blood sugar. If they just don't want to eat at all, and are losing weight, then I'd recommend MEG-A-CAL. It has a lot more in it. |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Looking forward to seeing Maggie. If she is a good eater, Nutri Cal is not necessary as a daily supplement. It is good as needed. |
Welcome my Canadian neighbor, so glad you found us...you will love it here! Again Welcome!! |

Welcome. Looking forward to seeing your little one. As everyone already said it is a good thing to have the Nutracal on hand in case your puppy has a hypoglycemic episode but you really don't need to use it as a supplement. |
