I don't know if he is just a gassy dog or if it's the food i'm feeding him. I was wondering if you could recommend me some good healthy brands of dog food your yorkie likes, thank you so much (: |

I'm feeding Now Fresh Grain Free Small Breed Small Breed Dog Food | Petcurean NOW No Grain Dog Food and my boys are doing great on it and have no gas :) |
1 Attachment(s) I also feed my Sophie Royal Canin for Yorkshire Terrier Puppy 29. It is for puppies up tp 10 months. The Yorkshire Terrier 28 (I think) is for older. She really likes it. No gas. |
We feed King Royal Canin for Yorkshire Terrier Puppies as well. It's great, he loves it. Even though it is kibble, it isn't hard for him to eat with his baby teeth. |
Nilla gets Canidae All Stages. ^^ |
canine caviar mixed with fresh boiled green beans or carrots. She loves it. I don't want to feed her can food. |
I feed taste of the wild... Even though they had some bad bouts last year... Great food IMO.. |

Jasper gets Science Diet Small Bites. He loves it and no gas. Thank goodness! ;) |
We rotate between Fromm formulas and Horizon formulas (Legacy and Amicus). No gas and the dogs do well on these foods. The only problem we had was with the salmon formulas (some salmon in the foods was fine but a primarily salmon formula doesn't work with one of my dogs). |
Canine Caviar Open Sky. Peanut has been on the food for about 8 months now, and I couldn't be happier!! |
I had been feeding Bentley Natural Balance LID no grains etc. for his allergies. He had gotten a bad case of gas and diarrhea. Got some canned pumpkin and switching over to TOTW without the ingredients he is allergic to and probiotics from the vet. Hoping with all of this he gets better. |
Bentley gets Blue Wilderness Puppy. No gas, but he loves to pick out the little black life source bits and throw them on the floor. It looks like there is mice problems around his dish. lol If I add a little warm water he scarfs down the entire bowl. |
we feed natural balance grain free. The grain might be giving your little one gas. |
:) Well, for his 'main meal', Harry has a chicken breast with rice or sweet potato, green beans, carrots, sweetcorn and peas :dribble: with a multivitamin/multimineral sprinkled on the top. I leave Royal Canin breed specific down for him to graze on all day, too....but he tends to only eat in the p.m./evening.... :D I think he eats better than we do.....:D Sally + Harry :aimeeyork x |
Mine are currently on Blue Buffalo Freedom. There is a food with limited ingredients called Earthborn Holistic dog food and it comes in a lot of different proteins! Choosing a food that is right for you puppy can be difficult if there are any tummy upsets, gas or allergies. You just have to do a trial of 3 months to see how it works for your pup. There are so many wonderful foods out there! |
We rotate between Canine Caviar, Royal Canin and Blue wilderness Freedom.. |
I feed Dolly Canine Caviar she does wonderful on this it immediately stopped her itching |
Galen eats California Natural Lamb and Rice |
I feed Sasha Blue Buffalo Wilderness for small breed dogs. She loves it and I love it for her because it's got more of the natural meat ingredients which is good for her and she's not gassy, which is an extra plus ;) |
I used to feed Royal Canin for years, but have recently in the last 10 months switched to Nature's Variety Instinct - Duck and Turkey or the Chicken. |
We feed Earthborn Holistic, Coastal Catch. We have great luck with most fkibble that is grain free- fish based protein, and includes probiotics. We are a switch over from Taste of the Wild- which we never had any problems with... the only time mine get gas is when I give them bits of fresh homecooked chicken. |
Joey gets Royal Canin with a little of his sisters Blue Buffalo. And green beans. |
I switched to raw and I noticed since I been feeding raw it seems like Sonic's coat has gotten thicker, it looks like it to me anyways lol. |
We feed Sophie Wellness Small Breed Adult Health. She thrives on it and has great checkups. They have it in a puppy mix, too. :) |
